Real Madrid players gave their fans a demonstration of how they will look like during the upcoming season with an impressive goal against Italian side Fiorentina on Saturday. It was Real Madrid’s last preparation match before they start a new ‘La Liga’ season next week. Although the final result wasn’t what they were expecting as they ended up losing 2-1, the Spanish side still showed that they remain as serious contenders for both Spanish and European championships.
It took only ten seconds for Cristiano Ronaldo and Angel Di Maria to run across the pitch and reach the rival’s net after a fast-paced counter-attack that saw the Portuguese player netting in the first goal of the match in the 4th minute of play.
The match was also marked by an incident that made the fans laugh when a Real Madrid supporter invaded the pitch in full Cristiano Ronaldo kit.
Fans didn’t wait to react on social media and they expressed their delight via Twitter.
