Spanish publication Sport claim that the Premier League giants could battle it out with Barcelona for the Viola star.

Given that they are keen on totally overhauling their squad after their diasterous campaign last season, it is not surprising that Manchester United has been linked to a whole slew of players during this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils have already been associated with making a move for Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels following the departures of experienced defenders such as Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, and Nemanja Vidic.

Another player that apparently is on their radar is Colombian attacker Juan Cuadrado.

The Fiorentina star is already reportedly a target for Barcelona, and now reports in England claim that the Premier League side, who will not feature in Europe next season feel that the Viola attacker will bring another dimension to their team as they seek to get back on track.

Spanish publication Sport (as per English publication Daily Mail) claim that an offer of £27.7 million was made for the winger, but it really remains to be seen whether this move comes to pass, especially since Cuadrado's current employers won't be so quick to sell him readily.
