The Viola hope to keep Barcelona from snapping up their star winger among reported interest from the La Liga giants.

After their successful World Cup in which they made it to the quarter-finals for the first time in their history, it is no surprise that several of Colombia's stars are on the radar for some of Europe's biggest clubs.

While James Rodriguez has been making most of the headlines after his excellent performance in Brazil due to his imminent move to Real Madrid, Fiorentina's star Juan Cuadrado has also attracted the attention of several of the continent's most notable teams.

Especially keen on adding him to their squad is Real Madrid's perpetual rival Barcelona, with the Blaugrana rumored to have earmarked him as a good option to further enhance their team ahead of their La Liga and Champions League campaigns.

And Fiorentina seems to understand that their star attacker may leave, as per reports, with the club's co-owner Andrea Della Valle expressing his concerns yet realistic approach in a recent radio interview.

"When Cuadrado returns [from his holiday] we want to see if he [would like to stay with us at Fiorentina]. [So] ifhe really does want to remain then we will talk to him and be honest about resolving the situation.

"It’s complicated, but not impossible. I’ll do everything I can to keep him, even if requires making sacrifices elsewhere, but if Cuadrado is no longer motivated to stay here then we can only accept that and move on."
