Fans can catch both MLS and now NWSL coverage via ESPN this summer.

The “summer of soccer” continues on the ESPN networks with three matches this weekend beginning with Major League Soccer club Seattle Sounders vs. Barclays Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, July 19, at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN2.  Jon Champion, who made his ESPN U.S. debut in May prior to the FIFA World Cup, returns from Brazil to call the match alongside analyst Kasey Keller with reporter Monica Gonzalez. Also Saturday, reigning MLS Cup champion Sporting Kansas City and its two U.S. Men’s National Team World Cup stars Matt Besler and Graham Zusi take the field against fellow USMNT member Omar Gonazlez and the LA Galaxy.

Sunday, July 20, marks the debut of ESPN’s slate of National Women’s Soccer League matches with Alex Morgan and the Portland Thorns vs. Heather O’Reilly and the Boston Breakers at 5 p.m. on ESPN2, with a simulcast on espnW.com.

espnW will provide exclusive NWSL content covering the league, games and players. On Friday, July 18, W’s Graham Hays will have a feature on O'Reilly in advance of the Portland-Boston match. Hays will delve into how she has transitioned from a young, burgeoning star with the U.S. Women’s National Team to veteran leader for her inexperienced Boston teammates, and how O’Reilly approaches a long summer and this side of her career. Hays will also have postgame analysis, including “Three Takeaways” from the game.
