ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Almost exactly one month after its initial kick-off, the 2014 World Cup is down from 32 participating countries to only four in the semifinal phase. Three of those four have won the championship on more than one occasion: Brazil, the biggest winner of all time, took home the trophy in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002; Germany in 1954, 1974, and 1990; and Argentina in 1978 and 1986. While they have never won, the Netherlands did make it to the final match in 1974, 1978, and 2010. If Brazil and Argentina eliminate their European competitors in the semifinals, fans could see a final match-up between two South American rivals this year, something that has not happened since 1950.

Viewers can watch the semifinals and final of the tournament live on their computer, phone or tablet by signing in to their TV Service Provider account.
