During yesterday’s friendly between Italy and Luxembourg, one Daniel da Mota showed exactly how not to do a throw in. After taking a very long run-up, thereby attracting a lot of attention, the player then slipped and landed face-first as he fumbled the ball, gifting it to the Italians.

Naturally, the Luxembourgers played the friendly game as if it was the actual World Cup, for which they expectedly failed to qualify.

Moreover, the Grand Douchy’s luck continues as FIFA ruled their humiliating loss against Belgium, 5-1, not an official friendly. FIFAexplained that Belgium made seven substitutions instead of the allowed six, which caused the game to be deemed unofficial. Consequently, Lukaku’s hat-trick will not count, and neither will Adnan Januzaj’s debut for the national team.
