The Welsh ace spoke in an interview with BT Sport about a variety of topics, but the 'best player' bit will surely raise controversy.

Gareth Bale may not be living his best season at Real Madrid, and some might feel that his days with Los Blancos are numbered, but he did not shy away from controversy when speaking in an interview with BT Sport.

The Welsh ace, who appeared in the show called "What I Wore", discussed with the anchor who was the best footballer he had ever played with. The anchor tried to keep him away from any compromising statements, but Bale did not hesitate to name one of his current teammates as the best player he has been around.

He did not have to say the name, but he chose Luka Modric's jersey to make a statement. He chose the Croatian's jersey over Cristiano Ronaldo's, which also prompted him to discuss his relationship -or lack there of- with the Portuguese ace.
