The Spanish defender was accused of stamping on the England ace in the 3-2 loss to the Three Lions.

Sergio Ramos is never far away from controversy due to his aggressive style of football, and on Monday, the defender found himself under criticism once more. The incident occurred during Monday's clash between Spain and England in the UEFA Nations League.

Ramos was part of Enrique's back-four that struggled in the first half en route to a 3-2 win. However, it was an altercation with Raheem Sterling that left many angered.

Pictures and footage starting circulating on social media which appeared to show the Furia Roja center-back stamp on the Three Lions ace. Many sources picked up on this claim, which is unsurprising, given the Real Madrid ace history of horrendous and reckless tackles.

On Wednesday, the 32-year-old took to Twitter to prove his innocence and slam his accusers. The Spain captain tweeted a video of the incident from a different and clearer angle, clearing him of any stamp allegations.

"Nothing else to say," was his caption, hinting that he has grown tired of the constant heat he faces.

The Blancos ace was slammed left, right, and center for his tackle on Mohamed Salah, another Premier League star, in the recent Champions League final. That incident that left the Egyptian with a dislocated is still occasionally discussed until this day.
