The Belgian playmaker went on to state he is quite interested in playing in the Spanish top flight to realize his childhood dreams.

Real Madrid fans and even Eden Hazard have been quite open about their desire to cross paths, but unfortunately for the team's supporters, such an event will not take place this season.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of Friday's UEFA Nations League clash against Switzerland, the Belgian footballer admitted that he will keep pushing to play for Real Madrid, but that will have to wait until the 2019-20 season.

Hazard did not deny his claims from earlier this week, but he ruled out having the intention of joining los Blancos in the upcoming transfer window.

"I've said too much already about my future, but it's not an option for me to leave Chelsea this winter," Hazard stated.

The former Lille footballer added that his intentions have not changed one bit, especially since he believes that playing in La Liga will allow him to opt for individual awards, such as the Ballon D'Or and The Best.

"I need to move to Spain if I want to win such awards. The most recent winners of that trophy are playing over there," Hazard added.

Earlier this week, the Belgian footballer admitted his desire to join Real Madrid once again, which prompted comments from Spanish journalists about the possibility of seeing that deal taking place this winter. The player has never hidden his desire to play at the Bernabeu, but it seems that it's time for the Spanish giants to make a move.
