After recovering from a massive brain hemorrhage, the iconic former Man United boss attended his first home game since April.

Saturday was a great moment for Man United fans, as Sir Alex Ferguson returned to Old Trafford for the first time since suffering a massive brain hemorrhage. The iconic Scottish manager was released from the hospital back in June, but he had not been able to attend a home game until Saturday's clash with Wolves.

In what was his first attendance of a Theatre of Dreams game since April, with the 76-year-old receiving a hero's welcome upon his return to the ground where he achieved unrivaled success. The Premier League legend was welcomed with a standing ovation as he waved and smiled at the crowd. Watch it in the video below.

Speaking ahead of the game, Sir Alex admitted to being excited to be back at Old Trafford. He told Man United's official website: "It was a long time but it's great to be back and I just hope we get a win today."
