The Brazilian left back has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu all summer, and his recent performances haven't been reassuring.

Marcelo's future at Real Madrid has been a matter of concern for fans during the summer, and even if the transfer window is shut down in Italy right now, the Brazilian is still being linked with a move away from Los Blancos. His potential destination would be none other than Juventus, where he'd team up once again with Cristiano Ronado.

According to a report by Tuttosport, the Portuguese ace hasn't stopped talking to Marcelo about his life in Italy, in what is being considered as an attempt to lure him away from the Spanish capital. CR7 wants as many of his former allies at Real Madrid around, and his "bromance" with Marcelo is well documented.

Added to this report, Marcelo's late mistakes at Real Madrid have forced coach Julen Lopetegui to take him off the pitch against Girona, which was not satisfying for the Brazilian ace.

"I was surprised by his decision, but I have to respect that," Marcelo stated after Sunday's game.

In that same interview, Marcelo admitted that he misses playing with Cristiano, which would make way for a possible deal. This has reached the ears of Juventus' execs, and according to the Italian journal, the bianconeri will prepare a €50M bid (around $58M) to sign the player away from Real Madrid.

The Serie A side allegedly tried to sign Marcelo this summer, but their refusal to sell Alex Sandro to PSG complicated any negotiation. Alex Sandro is expected to leave the bianconeri next year, which would pave the way for Marcelo's deal to happen.

Only time will tell if this deal takes place, but if Marcelo's baffling performances continue, maybe Real Madrid will be the one that's interested in parting ways with one of their captains after 12 years.
