One more day at the office for Cristiano Ronaldo ended just like old times: a brace and a win for Real Madrid.

The Portuguese ace added two more goals to his tally in La Liga, leading Real to a comfortable win against Alavés, which cuts the gap between them and Barcelona to 11 points with Los Blaugranas set to play on Sunday.

While there's debate about the amount of goals Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in La Liga (some sources claim he has scored 299), the striker has racked up an impressive goalscoring ratio since he joined the  Spanish top flight, surpassing the all-time goalscoring leader, Lionel Messi.
