Controversial agent Jonathan Barnett admits that his client's landscape for next season could change after Zizou's appointment.

Even though some experts believe that Gareth Bale's time at Real Madrid is coming to an end as soon as the season concludes, agent Jonathan Barnett revealed that his client is still thinking about a future with the Spanish giants.

Last year, reports emerged about how Zidane decided to leave Real Madrid because president Florentino Pérez decided to keep Gareth Bale around despite the French boss' request to transfer the Welsh ace away from Los Blancos, among other things. These reports were confirmed by Bale's statements earlier this year, where he denied having a close relationship with Zidane during his initial 30-month stint at the Bernabeu.

After Zizou's return on Monday, the smart money felt that Bale's exit this summer is a lock, but player agent Jonathan Barnett sent a statement to Real Madrid's hierarchy via an interview with As, where he sent the ball to Los Blancos' corner.

"Gareth will remain a Real Madrid player for as long as they want him to be. Our stance has not changed with Zidane's appointment," said the agent in the interview.

Even with the agent's words, Bale's future seems to be far away from the Bernabeu. The relationship between Zidane and the Welshman is not the best, and with a couple of Zidane's transfer targets currently playing in the Premier League, it wouldn't be surprising to see Bale joining either of those teams as part of a negotiation. Added to that, Barnett's words against Real Madrid fans would surely complicate the player's future at the Spanish capital.
