What is the form of Arsenal as compared to Manchester United's?

Arsenal enters Sunday's Premier League game on the brink of Europa League elimination following a 3-1 defeat to French outfit Stade Rennes on Thursday. Prior to that, a late penalty miss by Pierre Emerick Aubameyang deterred the Gunners from taking all the three points off the hands of cross-town rivals Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League game.

However, they are still on a four-game unbeaten run with three wins and a draw to show for. In the course of the last ten matches, Unai Emery's side has recorded five wins, four defeats, and a draw.

At home in the Premier League, Arsenal ranks behind Manchester City and Liverpool as the team with the most number of wins this season (W12 D2 L1).

Relatively, Manchester United has been quite formidable away from home in recent times and even comes into the upcoming clash on the back of a stunning 3-1 win away to Paris Saint Germain in a UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie.

On the domestic front, the Red Devils are still unbeaten in the Premier League since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, registering 10 wins and two draws.

Over the course of the last ten games across all competitions, the red devils have managed seven wins, two draws, and one defeat.

Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck are all out of action with respective injuries. Stephan Lichtsteiner returned to training and could feature in the side on Sunday.

The Manchester United squad has been boosted by the return of Paul Pogba who returned from sitting out Wednesday night's Champions League tie at the Parc des Princes via suspension. Anthony Martial, Nemanja Matic, and Ander Herrera were also included in the matchday squad.

Center-back Eric Bailly after picking up a knock in the midweek clash with PSG. However, Alexis Sanchez, Juan Mata, and Jesse Lingard will be sidelined for the encounter while they recover from respective injuries.

The latter, who has been a nuisance in his visits to the Emirates Stadium, did not travel with the rest of the team despite returning to training on Friday.

What are both managers saying ahead of Arsenal vs Manchester United?

Unai Emery, Arsenal: "They are in a very good moment but we are together in the table.

"We played against them one month ago in the FA Cup, we lost 3-1 but I remember we did very good things, created chances.

"We know Sunday is a tough match and it is for everybody an amazing match with very good players and we are going to play at home with our supporters.

"We need to have a very big performance from each player and tactically like a team but I am looking forward also to playing against a team like Manchester United and how they are in this moment with each player – very big confidence after the PSG match."

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United: "Now, of course, the fitness issue plays in more than ever because we've got players coming back, players who put a proper shift in.

"It was one of the hardest nights we've had physically - probably this one (PSG) and the Arsenal cup game are the two hardest games we've had.

"It was great to have fresh legs - Scott [McTominay], Fred - they do cover the ground so much so it's something we have to consider."
