The Belgian ace is back to his best, scoring six in his last three games for the Red Devils.

Romelu Lukaku heads into Sunday's trip to Arsenal in the best possible form and the credit for his upturn in fortunes reportedly lies in one dietary change.

The Belgian forward went nine straight games without finding the back of the net from early January until the end of February. However, the former Everton man put an end to that awful run in emphatic style, scoring a brace in each of his last three games.

According to the Daily Mail, the decision to switch from pasta to ham and cheese omelet for his pre-match meal in his last three games has been the secret to his return to form. This slight tweak reaped immediate benefits, as he scored a brace against Crystal Palace in a 3-1 Selhurst Park win.

He followed that up with a two-goal haul at home to Southampton and then repeated that feat in that unforgettable 3-1 Champions League win over PSG that sent the Red Devils to the quarter-finals. While this dietary change is not the only factor, it will go a long way in helping the 25-year-old lose weight.

Lukaku admitted to putting on excess muscle for the 2018 World Cup but has been working back to shape. The Belgian now looks destined to start in Man United's weekend clash with the Gunners.

Solskjaer's men will visit the Emirates Stadium on the back of that confidence-boosting victory over Mbappe and Co. in Europe. The Old Trafford side is in the midst of a heated top-four battle with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea but will fancy their odds of picking up three points in north London.
