The Bosnian playmaker had a sweet and sour experience at the San Paolo Stadium on Sunday

Maxi Allegri branded Miralem Pjanic as "half-dead" in his pre-match press conference as a quip to highlight the Bosnian midfielder's workaholic nature and, on Sunday, the former AS Roma star confirmed why he is almost undroppable in a sublime fashion. And yes, he could not have done it in any manner than with a trademark freekick!

The 28-year-old midfielder was handed the glorious opportunity in the 28th minute after a complete mare at Napoli's back resulted in Meret tackling Cristiano Ronaldo just outside the penalty box. The Partenopei shot stopper was consequently sent off and was replaced by David Ospina.

With Cristiano Ronaldo handing over the free-kick mantle to Pjanic, the playmaker stepped up and buried his effort into the bottom-left corner. Watch the goal below (geo-restriction may apply):

Zielinski almost equalised straight away fron Napoli's restart only for Emre Can to head home Juventus' second before half-time. In the second-half, the tide turned against goalscorer Miralem Pjanic who received his second booking for handling the ball near Juventus' penalty area.

With the numbers now even, Jose Callejon pulled one back for Napoli in the 60th-minute but all attempt to grabbed an equalizer from there proved futile. Juventus currently sits 16-points clear atop the Serie A table.
