Key fixture - Sassuolo vs Juventus
Juventus face a very tough round of 16 tie against Atletico Madrid coming up next week, but first, the Bianconeri will have to deal with Sassuolo first. The Neroverdi have proven to be a problematic side for many of Italy's big teams since first arriving in Serie A during the 2013/2014 campaign, and current Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri will be keenly aware of what could happen if his team underestimate their upcoming opponents. Allegri was in charge of AC Milan when the Rossoneri suffered an embarrassing 4-3 loss at MAPEI Stadium five years ago - which cost him his job - and in October 2015, Juventus were beaten 1-0 at this same ground. That being said, the Sassuolo loss arguably was what sparked La Vecchia Signora back into life, as they went on a very impressive 26 game unbeaten run (with wins in 25 of those) in Serie A to eventually run away with the Scudetto.
However, Juventus come into this game off the back of a very rough week. The Bianconeri were first surprisingly dumped out of the Coppa Italia following a 3-0 defeat to Atalanta, and then barely hung on for a three-all draw against Parma after enjoying a 3-1 lead for much of the game. Allegri will hope that the distraction of their upcoming showdown against Diego Simeone's troops won't prove to be their undoing, as Sassuolo are a side who relish in causing problems for the big teams in the league, and would love nothing but to become the first team to beat La Vecchia Signora in Serie A this season.
The visitors have some major worries in defense, though, as Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, and Giorgio Chiellini are all still out, but with Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala spearheading their attack, Juventus are nonetheless expected to come out on top here.

Key fixture #2 - AC Milan vs Cagliari
After a draw with Roma last weekend, Milan will be looking to try to get back into the top four as they take on a struggling Cagliari side who have won just one of their last five fixtures. Given that the Rossoneri have won their last 13 home games against the Rossoblu across all competitions, the hosts will surely be confident in their chances to pick up all three points here. Cagliari, for their part have lost their last three away games and have failed to score in three of their last four most recent fixtures. With Milan steadily improving defensively, coupled with the excellent form of new signing Krzysztof Piatek, the visitors could be in trouble at the Stadio San Siro on Sunday evening.
Both Lazio and Roma - two of Milan's biggest competitors for fourth spot - won their respective fixtures over floundering Empoli and Chievo, meaning that it's that much more vital for Gennaro Gattuso's squad to pick up all three points in this match in order to re-establish their grip on fourth place.
