It took the Englishman just 10 minutes to make his mark on the afternoon's encounter having made a mess of a glorious opportunity to put Manchester United ahead earlier. The Red Devil's academy graduate combined with Paul Pogba again to produce the first goal of the game, taking his tally in the league under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to six.

On the broader scale, Marcus Rashford has now scored nine goals and provided six assists in 16 starts for the Red Devils this season.

At 21 years and 95 days, Marcus Rashford became the 15th youngest player to reach 100 Premier League appearances and the second youngest for Manchester United.

Ryan Giggs (21 years and 73 days) sits atop the club's list of youngest players to make 100 Premier League appearances while Wayne Rooney (21 years and 200 days), Cristiano Ronaldo (21 years and 223 days) and Gary Neville (22 years and 313) complete the top five.
