A Red Devils source claims the Frenchman is happy and ready to commit his foreseeable future to the club.

It appears Paul Pogba has had a change of heart at Man United, as the Frenchman is now ready to stay at the club. After being linked with an exit, the midfielder wants to sign an extension after the club's managerial change.

The World Cup winner had reportedly been unhappy at the club during the later stages of Jose Mourinho's reign and was willing to leave in January. However, the Special One is no longer in charge at Old Trafford and the club's record signing has rediscovered his form in recent weeks.

The 25-year-old endured a rough relationship with the Portuguese tactician and had a number of falling outs with Jose. However, the player is back to best under Ole Gunner Solskjaer and appears to enjoy playing under the Norwegian.

According to the Sun, a source at the club revealed that Pogba is eager to sit down for contract talks despite there being two more years remaining on his current deal. Now back to his best, the Frenchman will also push for a pay raise.

The former Juventus ace earns just over $375K per week at the Theatre of Dreams and is Man United's second-highest earner. However, he wants a new and improved wage package that will put him closer to Alexis Sanchez.

“Pogba's agent is ready to end the problems he has had with the club over the last few months," the Man United source is quoted as saying.

“He wasn't over much towards the end of last year. There was a big breakdown of relationships while Mourinho was in charge.

“Raiola wants to talk about his clients ongoing future when all the January business is concluded, which won't be too much.

“There were talks over whether he would go, but there is no chance of that. He looks like he's the happiest he has been in a long time.”

Pogba has contributed to nine goals in the six Premier League games Solskjaer has been in charge. Next up for the Red Devils is a tricky FA Cup trip to Arsenal, with both sides eager to secure a win in this fourth-round tie.
