The Colombian ace's future has been the subject of speculation due to Bayern's reluctance to make his loan deal permanent.

With his time at Bayern München seemingly coming to an end, James Rodríguez is not going to struggle when it comes to finding a new club.

Aside from his possible return to Real Madrid (the club that owns the player's transfer rights), the Colombian ace has been linked with potential moves to Arsenal and Liverpool. The footballer has also been linked with one or two Italian teams, with Juventus seemingly taking the lead due to his good relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo. Nevertheless, there is one more team that has shown interest in his services which offers the South American ace a chance to reunite with one of his favorite coaches.

That team is none other than Napoli. According to Corriere dello Sport, the great relationship between Rodríguez and former boss Carlo Ancelotti would be crucial to see the deal taking place. Ancelotti enjoyed James' best season at Real Madrid, where Rodríguez scored 17 goals and handed out 18 assists under the Italian's orders.

Ancelotti was also behind the deal between Bayern and Real Madrid, which saw Rodríguez joining Die Roten on a two-year loan deal. Unfortunately for the pair, Ancelotti was sacked during the earlier months of the season, which prevented them from working together once again for a full year.

The coach's tactics have seemed to work fine for Rodríguez to display his best football, and added to that, if he chose to join Napoli, he'd find some company in goalkeeper and former brother-in-law David Ospina, who is expected to join the Italian club on a permanent deal once the ongoing season comes to an end.
