Jose Mourinho is a polarizing character, but there were some of his colleagues that did not want to jump on the haters' bandwagon and offered him some words of comfort.
The Special One had quite a complicated last season at Old Trafford, with public rows against some of his players, especially Paul Pogba. Once the decision was revealed to the world, the man who handed Mourinho his last loss at Manchester United, Jürgen Klopp, shared his views on the matter.
"He is a very competitive guy. He has all my respect, has been unbelievably successful. The last few months I can imagine were not a joy, for anybody. Nobody can take away all the things he's won. I wish he has that in his mind when he leaves, not what happened in the last few months, Klopp said.

Meanwhile in London, Mauricio Pochettino also shared his disappointment for watching Mourinho out of a job, mainly due to the close relationship between them. Added to that, the Argentine refused to speak about his possible appointment as Mourinho's successor when the season comes to an end.
"I want to send my best wishes to him. I feel so sorry. You know I have a good relationship with him. We are good friends. It's sad news. Then, it's not my business what happens at another club. I want to send my best wishes to José," Pochettino stated.
"In nearly five years there have been a lot of rumors about my position as manager of Tottenham. I cannot answer this type of question. These rumors happen in football," he added.
Zinedine Zidane, Pochettino, Michael Carrick, Laurent Blanc and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer are some of the names being linked to the permanent or interim job at Manchester United. As eager as we are to find out who will become Mou's replacement, we will have to wait and see which direction Man United execs want to take on this matter.
