What is the current position of PSV and Barcelona in their UCL group?

There will be very little to write home about when PSV welcomes Barcelona to the Philips Stadion in the Champions League on Wednesday. The Dutch outfit, after four matches, has accumulated just a point out of a potential 12. The team momentarily sits at the bottom of Group B.

However, Barcelona – who has already progressed to the knockout phase of the competition – leads the pack with 10 points after four games.

What is the current form of PSV as compared to Barcelona?

PSV enters Wednesday's Champions League clash unbeaten in its last two games. The Eredivise side has won three of its last five matches and has emerged victorious in six of its last 10. The Philips Stadion outfit has been on the losing end on three occasions in across its previous 10 outings across all competitions.

In the opposite camp, Barcelona has struggled to get a win in any of its three recent outings. The Blaugrana has drawn twice and won one. Prior to this, the Catalans enjoyed an eight-game unbeaten run across all competitions. In their last 10 matches, Ernesto Valverde's men have been defeated on just an occasion.

They have won six and have drawn thrice.

Who is injured and/or suspended for PSV vs Barcelona?

PSV's chances will be boosted on Wednesday night with Mexican sensation Hirving Lozano returning to the team following an injury spell. The midfielder was on the score and assist sheets in the weekend's win over Heerenveen.

However, Barca will be a bit concerned with its growing list of injured personnel. The likes of striker Luis Suarez and midfielders Arthur, Rafinha and Sergi Roberto have all been declared unavailable for the trip to the Netherlands.

The good news is that Philippe Coutinho has recovered from an injury in time and could be featured in the upcoming match-up. Ivan Rakitic still remains a doubt for the game.
