Last season's Serie A runners-up failed to impress in the Champions League as the team, who were then under the leadership of Maurizio Sarri, decided to throw all their efforts into trying to win the Scudetto and ended up ultimately coming up short. Les Parisiens have had a tricky start to their Champions League campaign. A defeat to Liverpool on matchday one was followed by a comfortable 6-1 win over Serbian minnows Red Star Belgrade. This could be an interesting game for Gianluigi Buffon.
