The accident that caused the death of Leicester City's owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, touched a lot of hearts in the Premier League. The Thai exec was both enigmatic and beloved by those who knew him, and one of his former footballers did not want to keep his thoughts to himself after his passing.
Former Leicester City player Riyad Mahrez spoke about the incident where Srivaddhanaprabha passed away following Manchester City's 1-0 win over Tottenham. The Algerian footballer shared his views on the man, finding it hard to hold back his tears.
Mahrez describe his late boss as a sort of father figure, especially since they shared one of the brightest moments in Premier League history when the Foxes reached the title during the 2015-16 season. Even if Mahrez tried desperately to leave during last winter's transfer window, the Algerian ace had fond memories of his late boss, which he shared with the audience after Man City's win today.
