The former returned to his club side Real Madrid to continue his recovery from a groin injury having sat out the 4-1 humiliation to Spain last Thursday.

His side will also be without the service of Chelsea starlet Ethan Ampadu and defender Chris Mepham. Gwion Edwards and Kieron Freeman were called up earlier by Ryan Giggs to replace the pair.

For the Republic of Ireland, Bristol City midfielder Callum O'Dowda is a major doubt to feature in the upcoming UNL clash as he is yet to fully recover from an injury. To fortify the squad, Martin O'Neil has caalled into camp Portsmouth striker Ronan Curtis.

Harry Arter also returned to the side on Saturday after settling his feud with assistant manager Roy Keane.

Although the former was a United Nations League encounter, the Dragons maintain high hopes of securing promotion to League A, and a win at the Aviva Stadium will guarantee just that.
