Gareth Bale has boosted momentum in the camp of the Dragons with his return.

Gareth Bale trained with the Welsh national team on Tuesday in preparation towards upcoming games against Spain and Republic of Ireland. The Real Madrid winger sent mild panic across the Bernabeu after limping off in Real Madrid's 1-0 shock defeat to Alaves over the weekend. This, as a result, placed his participation in the first international game scheduled for Thursday in doubt.

Prior to his appearance over the weekend, Gareth Bale missed Real Madrid's loss to CSKA Moscow in the UEFA Champions League last week with a groin injury. Despite being available at Wale's Vale of Glamorgan camp, the former Tottenham Hotspur winger missed out on joining his compatriots to undergo a personal recovery session.

Manager of the side Ryan Giggs now has a decision to make with regards Gareth Bale's fitness with the forward training fully on Tuesday. The Welsh medical staff is, however, confident that the 29-year-old forward will be available for Thursday's meeting with Spain as they monitor his situation.

With the team gearing up for the clash, Joe Allen emphasized the significance of getting the Madrid stalwart back.

"He [Bale] always can't wait to meet up with us and it's great to have your talisman here," the former Liverpool midfielder was quoted to have said via Mirror.

"Hopefully he's going to be all right and it goes without saying how important he is to us."

Wales, who is tied on three points with Denmark, currently sits second after two games. The Dragons won 4-1 at home to Republic of Ireland and lost via a 2-0 scoreline away to Denmark.
