Chelsea will look to cement their position as Group L favorites as they take on minnows Videoton at Stamford Bridge on October 4th.

Match Preview

Although Chelsea were not able to seal all three points against Liverpool in last weekend's crunch tie, and as a result, the Blues, having drawn two of their last three fixtures now have slipped into third spot, Maurizio Sarri can hardly be complaining. For starters, the Blues knocked the Reds out of the League Cup last week and are among the clear favorites in this year's Europa League, so silverware is still a definite possibility for the Italian tactician in his debut season.

The ex-Napoli boss could opt to again tinker with his squad given the overall weakness of Chelsea's opponents in their quartet - just like he did when the Blues traveled to face PAOK on matchday one. Willian's goal was enough to make the difference against their stubbornly defensive foes, and the Blues will be looking to rack up the goals to overtake BATE in terms of goal difference as they host their first-ever Europa League group stage game on Thursday evening.

However, although he is likely to rotate, he is not likely to rotate too heavily. Players like Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas could be involved in the starting XI as they have not received much game-time, but others like Jorginho, who Sarri brought in from Napoli are definitely likely to feature despite also playing in the fixture against Liverpool last weekend, and he is also likely to stick with his first choice keeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's opponents are featuring in the Europa League group stages for only the second time in their history. The Hungarian outfit won their league for the first time ever in 2011, and were crowned champions for the third time last term.
