The Chilean footballer has never been a fan of Real Madrid, and his first interview as a Blaugrana footballer proves it.

There's never been love between Arturo Vidal and Real Madrid, and after two straight UEFA Champions League eliminations with Die Roten against Los Blancos, it's no surprise to find the Chilean ace aiming a dig at his former team's executioner in the most relevant competition in Europe.

Speaking in an interview with Mundo Deportivo, the Chilean ace stated that Los Blancos would have never eliminated Bayern in the UEFA Champions League in the two most recent campaigns if the use of the Video Assistant Referee had been allowed in European competitions.

"No, not a chance. We (Bayern) would have won two straight UCL titles if UEFA had allowed the use of VAR, not them," Vidal stated with a little giggle.

The South American midfielder didn't hide the fact that winning the European competition with Barcelona would be like a dream come true for him, especially if he can do it during his first year at Camp Nou.

"I want to win it all, that's why I'm here for. Clearly, winning the UEFA Champions League makes me dream. For me, since I'm the new guy here, I'm really looking forward to try and win La Liga. I know Barcelona has won it many times before, but being a new team and new trophies, I want to add my name to those who won it before," Vidal added.

The Chilean footballer came close to winning the UEFA Champions League title three years ago, when Barcelona defeated Juventus in the 2014-15 UCL final. Only time will tell if he's able to win that trophy during his stay with Los Blaugranas, which will initially extend to three years.
