Les Parisiens want to offload the 31-year-old South American due to his deteriorated relationship with Neymar, among other situations.

Edinson Cavani has been involved in transfer rumors ever since his bad relationship with Neymar came to light. With that in mind, PSG's main men have always come forward to deny such claims, but this time, the decision to part ways with Les Parisiens' all-time top scorer seems to have come from the president's office.

According to a report by France Football, PSG has begun their search to find Cavani's replacement as a direct request by coach Thomas Tuchel. Cavani's relationship with some of the team's stars is frosty at best, and the best thing right now is to let the 31-year-old leave while there are still some potential bidders.

The first name on top of PSG's list is Karim Benzema, according to the French magazine. Benzema has been a transfer target for Les Parisiens for quite some time, and they are considering a transfer given that Real Madrid seems interested in selling the footballer.

If Florentino Pérez refuses to sell the player, PSG's execs would turn their sights to Inter's Mauro Icardi. The Argentine is not enjoying the best of relationships with his bosses, and the team's exit from the UEFA Champions League could pave the way for an exit. Icardi's agent/wife Wanda Nara is allegedly listening to all offers from other clubs, and with Icardi's deal expiring after the 2020 season, it would be one of the few chances Inter would have to cash in on their captain.
