Paris Saint-Germain is set to be probed by UEFA for possibly breaching the Financial Fair Play rules following the signing of the Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe. The French capital club was initially cleared of breaching the FFP by UEFA's Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) back in June but upon further assessment, the verdict is set to be overturned.
Back in the summer of 2017, PSG splashed 222m euros (£200m) to secure the signature of Brazil forward Neymar from Barcelona, breaking the world-record transfer fee in the process.
The club further topped its spending with yet another marquee signing after paying AS Monaco 180m euros (£165.7m) to sign Kylian Mbappe following the end of his loan move last season.
At the moment, Paris Saint-Germain is yet to balance its revenue and spending books and on Monday, BBC confirmed UEFA's decision to "refer the case back for further investigation"
Breaking | UEFA further delay their definitive decision on PSG & FFP rules and instead confirm the inception of a "more thorough investigation".
