The Spanish side has made quite an investment for this season, and they will try to show their worth when playing against Cristiano Ronaldo and Co.

Juventus has been listed as one of this year's biggest title contenders in the UEFA Champions League since Cristiano Ronaldo's signing. On Wednesday, the bianconeri side will try to live up to the hype, as they face their first challenge in this competition against Valencia.

Wednesday's game might prove a bit difficult for the Italian champions, as Mattia De Sciglio and Andrea Barzagli are injury doubts for the away side. Furthermore, Juve execs may find it appropriate to ban Douglas Costa from playing, mainly due to his controversial red card on Sunday, which saw the wingman throwing elbows, a head-butt and spitting against a Sassuolo defender.
