El Tri shocked the world by defeating Germany. Can they secure a spot in the next round by dominating the Korean side?

One of Matchday 1's biggest upsets took place on Sunday, when Mexico defeated Germany in Group F's opening match. Now, Mexico will want to confirm their newly-acquired reputation as the team to beat in this group, when they battle South Korea with a Round of 16 spot in their minds.

Juan Carlos Osorio's team is well-known for its rotations policy, but the Colombian boss might choose other tactics for this game, as he is expected to make one or two tweaks to the team that defeated Die Mannschaft. El Tri hasn't lost a second group game since 1994, and they will try to keep that streak going tomorrow in the Russian city of Rostov.

On the other side of the pitch, Shin Tae-Yong's crew will try to give their chances a boost, especially after losing narrowly against Sweden. It's now or never for the Taeguk Warriors, who will have Son Heung-Min and Kim Shin-wook as their biggest threats in front of Mexico's goal. The South Korean side has only been able to make it past the group stage in two of their ten World Cup appearances, and a win against El Tri will boost their options to do so, even if they face Germany on Matchday 3.
