Fox Sports is a group of Dutch sports television channels, owned by the Eredivisie Media & Marketing CV and operated by the Fox Network Group Benelux. The first channel of this group was launched on August 29, 2008, as Eredivisie Live, but it would be rebranded as Fox Sports Netherlands on August 1, 2013.
Fox Sports Go is the mobile app for Dutch fans to keep track of their favorite sports wherever they are. Over the years, the app has provided mobile coverage for all of Fox Sports’ broadcasting rights. Some of the sports covered on this app over the years have included domestic and international football, tennis, American football, baseball, hockey, mixed-martial arts events, and more.
Fox Sports Go’s football coverage in the Netherlands has included club competitions and national team tournaments over time. Some of those tournaments have included the Dutch Eredivisie, the KNVB Cup, the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, the UEFA Europa League, the German Bundesliga, the Taca de Portugal, the Scottish Cup, the Coupe de France, and South American competitions such as the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Sudamericana, and the Recopa Sudamericana. Added to those tournaments, national team competitions covered on this channel over the years have included the Copa América, the CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the Africa Cup of Nations.
Fox Sports Go has been available for users to stream content on multiple screens at the same time after each user has provided the necessary credentials. Fox Sports Go has also included a catchup service that may give users a chance to watch a game or show three days after its original streaming date. Fox Sports Go may be accessed on web browsers, on mobile apps for Android and iOS devices, on Google Chromecast, and select Smart TV sets. Users have been able to access Fox Sports Go’s content in the European Union after subscribing with a Dutch IP address, but some shows and live games might be geo-restricted.
