AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain is an English-language regional sports network in USA, owned by WarnerMedia News & Sports, and it broadcasts in 720p (HD) and 480i (SD). It is mainly available on cable in areas of California, Colorado, Mohave County (Arizona), Nevada, Southern Idaho, Utah, western Kansas, western Nebraska, western South Dakota and Wyoming. AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain is also available nationwide via satellite through DirecTV and DISH Network. Viewers in Arizona, California and Nevada may have access to a dedicated West subfeed. Likewise, users in Utah may be able to watch the Utah subfeed.
The channel was first launched in November 1988 under the name Prime Sports Network, before getting renamed to Prime Sports Rocky Mountain two years later. After a series of rebranding exercises, which saw its name changed multiple times to reflect its affiliation with Fox Sports Networks – then owned by News Corporation – the channel was giving the name AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain following the transformation of Root Sports into the AT&T SportsNet brand in 2017.
Live events on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain largely consist of games involving the Colorado Rockies from Major League Baseball (MLB), Utah Jazz from the National Basketball Association (NBA), Vegas Golden Knights from the National Hockey League (NHL), Las Vegas Aces from the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), and also the Glendale Raptors and Utah Warriors from Major League Rugby (MLR). AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain may also air live college sports events, especially football and basketball games from the Mountain West Conference, Big Sky Conference, West Coast Conference and Pac-12 Conference.
Live games on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain may be available to stream on the official AT&T SportsNet app for Android and iOS mobile devices. Users wanting to access AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain streams will be required to authenticate themselves via a participating TV provider.
