Jonathan González might not be in Russia with Mexico for the 2018 World Cup, but he could be headed to Europe soon for another reason. After a strong performance with Mexico's U21 team at the 2018 Toulon Tournament in France, the Monterrey Rayados midfielder is hoping to follow the footsteps of El Tri stars like Chucky Lozano & Hector Moreno and make a move to a European club like PSV or Ajax in the near future. While Jona will watch Mexico vs Germany from his home in California this year, he has his sights set helping El Tri win the 2019 Gold Cup and the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
