The Croatian footballer seems determined to leave Los Blancos this summer, and his agents will try to make it happen in the next few days.

Real Madrid fans may have to see one of their most beloved footballers leaving the club this summer, as Luka Modric seems to be keen on leaving Los Blancos before the end of the transfer window.

According to a report by Spanish media outlet Ond Cero, the Croatian footballer's agents will meet with Florentino Pérez tomorrow, in which the midfielder's future will be the main topic of discussion.

The media outlet suggests that Modric's agents has specific instructions to negotiate the player's exit to Inter Milan, the team that's been linked with the player's future in recent weeks. Onda Cero's sources revealed that Modric's agents will try to force Florentino Pérez to lower the player's buyout clause, which is close to $865M.

According to the same information, Florentino Pérez has no intention to lower the player's buyout clause to facilitate his exit just like he did with Cristiano Ronaldo. In fact, Pérez feels confident about the team's chances to twist Modric's arm and see him extending his stay at the Bernabeu.

The Spanish tycoon believes that Modric wishes to have his wage increased, and he is prepared to offer him an interesting deal. Modric earns $8.5M yearly at Real Madrid, and Florentino Pérez is allegedly ready to offer him a $2.5M increase.

Real Madrid fans will have to wait and see how these events turn out, especially if the silver medal winner in the FIFA World Cup doesn't want to negotiate with the Spanish giants.
