The Special One also shared his views on Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer and how it will change how fans see football in years to come.

Manchester United's boss José Mourinho shared his views on the recently concluded World Cup. The Portuguese boss left a few interesting thoughts on the competition, especially when speaking about those that disappointed him and those that really deserved praise.

For starters, Mourinho admitted that France's World Cup win was truly deserved, since Les Bleus were the most consistent side of them all.

"They reached the UEFA Euro final two years ago, and now they've won the World Cup title. They deserved to win that trophy," Mourinho stated

But the negative aspects of the World Cup were what really stood out in Mou's words to Teleradiostereo. First off, that VAR penalty against Croatia in the FIFA World Cup final shouldn't have been awarded, according to The Special One.

"For me, VAR should be used to correct clear mistakes and mishaps from the ref, and yesterday's call was one of those that raise doubts about its use. It was a clear injustice against a team that had done a fantastic job," Mourinho continued.

Then, Mou added a special dig at one particular team that didn't live up to the hype.

"If I had to name a team that really disappointed me in this competition, I'd have to say Brazil," Mourinho added.

Mou aims dig at Cristiano Ronaldo over Juventus move

The Special One also analyzed Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Juventus, which will give fans a chance to keep track of other competitions.

Nevertheless, Mourinho wasn't as kind with Juventus' decision to sign his compatriot, since he believes that this transfer was decided by their marketing department.

"If teams like Inter, Milan, Napoli and Roma accept passively the fact tha Juventus signed Cristiano Ronaldo, then we will see the bianconeri winning the Italian Scudetto over and over again. I congratulate Juventus for this transfer and for the impact it will have on football and their marketing department," the coach stated.

"Now, people will watch Serie A because Cristiano is there, they will watch La Liga because Messi is there and they will watch the Premier League because it's the best league in the world," "The Special One" concluded.
