The French ace has grown increasingly frustrated under Jose Mourinho. Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus seem to be his options.

One of Manchester United's most talented players might begin the exodus away from the Red Devils, as Anthony Martial has demanded his agent to push for a transfer away from Old Trafford.

In an interview with French outlet RMC Sport, Martial's agent Phillipe Lamboley admitted that the team's failure to reach an agreement regarding a contract extension played a key role in his decision.

"After thinking about all the possibilities and settings, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United. I think that when Manchester United, which is the most powerful club in the world, does not find an agreement in eight months of negotiations, it is that it does not really want to make him an important player," Lamboley stated.

The agent also referred to the team's fans as the main reason why his client didn't push for an exit earlier.

"I can tell you that without the unconditional support of the fans, Anthony would have already asked to leave United. There are many parameters, for now it's premature to talk about it [the reasons for his decision]. Anthony will speak later to discuss all of this," the agent added.

Despite the player's wishes, Lamboley revealed that the team will have the final decision about Martial's future, since he is still under contract with the Red Devils.

"It is quite obvious and it is very important to remember that he is under contract, that United will have the last word and that we will respect the decision of the club, it will go to the end of its commitment," Lamboley concluded.

Martial became the most expensive signing in Manchester United's history in 2014 under Louis Van Gaal, but he failed to earn a spot in Jose Mourinho's lineup. The player has been deemed as a possible transfer target for Juventus, Chelsea and Arsenal. Only time will tell if the Frenchman, who was also snubbed from the World Cup, will be able to leave Old Trafford this summer.
