Goalkeeper Karl-Johan Johnsson analyzed the pros and cons of having Ibrahimovic returning to play with the Blagult.

Even if he's been going around stating that he will go to the World Cup, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's comeback to the Swedish National Team is being frowned upon by some of his would-be team-mates.

In an interview with Main Opposee, goalkeeper Karl-Johan Johnsson discussed the idea of having the LA Galaxy striker returning to the team, and judging by his words, he's not that fired up to have him back.

"It's up to the coach to see if he wants to bring him. We managed to qualify and go through to the World Cup without him, and I think we can manage to play well at the World Cup without him," Johnsson stated.

Johnsson, Sweden's backup goalkeeper, ruled out any animosity towards the striker, while stating that the team's style would have to change if the coach calls up Zlatan for the 2018 World Cup.

"As a team, we play as a collective, all the players together. With Zlatan, as a person, as a player he's an individualist, and the play goes around him. I don't know if the coach wants such a big change, because he'll have to change the whole system of how he wants to play." Johnsson added.

Johnsson has played only five games for Sweden.

Guingamp's goalkeeper tried to soften his judgement by comparing Zlatan's style of play against Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi's, due to the skills all three of them possess.

"It's a different style of play when you have a player like Zlatan, Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi in your team, because they're world-class players, and you have to use those players to win the game and play in a special way," Johnsson concluded.

Although the goalkeeper doesn't seem eager to have Zlatan around in the World Cup, he ended the interview saying that the team will respect the coach's decision to call him up or not.

Sweden was drawn in Group F of the World Cup alongside Mexico, Germany and South Korea.
