The Atletico man believes that the Manchester United ace can do better.

With Manchester United facing an in-house crisis of their own and Jose Mourinho occasionally going on unexpected rants, one man who has suffered heavy criticism is Paul Pogba. The former Juventus man was first said to have fallen out with his Portuguese manager a few months back but the latter came out to quell the speculations of an existing feud.

Since that episode, Pogba has very inconsistent with his performances and has occasionally enjoyed spells on the bench, as a result. However, his dip in form did not deter him from getting a national team call-up for the upcoming international friendlies.

Manager of the French national team, Deschamps, earlier this week, slammed the treatment of the 25-year-old midfielder at Manchester United. Nonetheless, Antonio Griezmann - a close companion of Pogba - believes the French man has to up his game a bit after admitting that he’s been out of sorts lately.

"He came back [to the squad] with a huge smile on his face," he told reporters ahead of Friday night's meeting with Colombia.

"He was happy. It's not easy when you don't play at your club or you don't feel at your best. It happened to me and he knows that.

"He still enjoys having fun and working hard, which are what matter the most. It's up to him to prove and show that he's still the player that he can be.

"The coach trusts him, like the entire squad. We need a smiling Paul and an efficient one on the pitch."

Griezmann himself has been hugely linked with a move to Old Trafford and a reunion with his close buddy at the Manchester club this summer still remains a possibility.
