He was at it again!

If you thought the Manchester United managers’ 12-minute rant that has recently been making rounds on the internet was his final metldown, then you have to think again! With Jose, you will never know what he’s got up his sleeve until he folds up his sleeves.

The Portuguese coach, despite leading the Red Devils to a 2:0 victory over Brighton, has slammed his players for their lackluster showing in the FA Cup knockout game. A goal each by Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic secured the win for the hosts but, bar the two goalscorers’, Jose Mourinho believes the rest of his players “lacked personality, class, and desire” in their overall approach.

"I want more personality in the team," Mourinho told BT Sport in his post-match interview.

"I felt like Matic was an island of personality, of desire, of control, surrounded by not water but surrounded by lack of class, lack of personality, lack of desire.

"The perfect Manchester United player is the one that has quality and personality and is consistent on that, but when you play bad -- and as a football player you can play bad -- when you play bad you must have that personality that a kid with 20 years old [McTominay] had, and some of the others they didn't have."
