The French striker has been linked for quite some time with the Blaugrana side, and his arrival to Catalunya could take place next summer.

Antoine Griezmann's time at Atlético Madrid is nearing its end, as the player has allegedly turned down an offer to extend his contract with the Spanish capital giants.

According to French website Le10Sport, Los Colchoneros' hierarchy offered Griezmann a new deal, but the player refused to commit himself to a new term with the red-and-white side, as he has reportedly agreed a hefty deal to join Los Blaugranas next summer.

Griezmann apparently reached a deal with Barcelona back in October, which is why he chose to turn down Atlético's offer.

The French star has played 196 games for Los Colchoneros, scoring 104 goals in the process.
