Leading Latin American soccer streaming service, Fanatiz, in collaboration with MP & Silva have secured the rights to broadcast all Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana matches.

Thanks to Fanatiz and MP & Silva, viewers in the USA and Canada will get first-hand access to all the games in the 59th edition of the Copa Libertadores, as well as the second-most prestigious club competition in South American football - the Copa Sudamericana. 

CEO of Fanatiz, Matias Rivera, highlighted the need for the rights acquisition and further stressed on the quality of content that will be delivered to the audience in North America in a press conference.

With the deal now in place, here’s what fans can look forward to in the respective competitions:

Copa Libertadores

  • The group stage games will commence from February 27th through to May 24th.
  • The two top-ranked teams in each group will progress to compete in the knockout stage from August 7 to November 1
  • The two finalists will then play in a two-legged tie on November 7 and November 28, respectively. 
  • There will be a total of 40 games to be played.
  • All matches will be streamed online at Fanatiz. Viewers can subscribe for $9.99 per month, with a 14-day free-trial.

 Copa Sudamericana

  • The first phase started on February 13th and will end on May 10th by which all home and away matches would have been played. 
  • The second phase will be played by qualified clubs between July and August 2018. 
  • The final phases (knockout stages) will then continue from there, with the main finale scheduled for December 12th.
  • There will be a total of 30 games to be played.
