The Brazilian was one of the star performers from Tuesday's game, but admitted to being disappointed with the result.

On Tuesday, Chelsea was unable to beat Barcelona at Stamford Bridge, but all hope is not lost despite dropping points. This was the message echoed by Willian shortly after the 1-1 draw in London.

The Blues looked destined to come away with the win after the Brazilian gave the host a 1-0 lead with a lovely 62nd-minute goal, having been denied twice by the post. However, a mistake in defense from Conte’s side allowed Messi to equalize shortly afterward.

That away goal and point won on the road could be enough to help the Blaugrana eliminate the London giant, but Willian has hope for the return leg. Speaking to reporters, the South American told reporters that victory at Camp Nou is achievable.

“I think it’s still open. We can go there [to Camp Nou] and win the game,” said the winger.

The Selecao ace did admit to being unhappy with the result. Despite dominating possession, the Catalan giant struggled to create chances. Only time will tell if Chelsea will be punished for their mistakes in the second leg.
