The Bavarians aim to do things differently in their upcoming clash with Real Madrid.

Bayern Munich faces an uphill task to overturn a 2-1 aggregate defeat in the UEFA Champions League semi-final at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday. However, manager of the side Jupp Heynckes relishes his side's chances as he believes all is not lost yet for the Bavarians.

According to the 72-year-old, his side will make use of a different approach in their bid to upset the defending champions.

"The past is the past we have to look forward to tomorrow's game with confidence. We have to create scoring chances and we will have to be much more clinical this time around. We have to be more hungry and we will have to avoid making any mistakes.

"Not changing anything is incorrect in my opinion," the 72-year-old said as he addressed reporters.

"We have to find some balance, some inner peace. We need to be aware of what we need to do at every moment....and we have to manage the game, that's the art of a great team.

“We know that it will be hard but at the same time, Juve showed that Real Madrid can be vulnerable at home. They are used to playing big games like this but we will give it our all for sure.

“We want to reach the UCL final and we know that we have the right qualities to arrive there.”

Despite the chance to progress still being alive and true, Jupp Heynckes faces a tough task considering Bayern Munich has failed to win any of their last six matches against Real Madrid.
