Transfer talk involving Neymar and Real Madrid has made headlines for almost six months, and now, coach Zinedine Zidane joined the bandwagon by sharing his views on the player's performances on the pitch.
Speaking in the pre-match press conference for the game against Deportivo, the French manager hardly struggled when he was asked about the player. While he didn't come right out and reveal the team's intentions to sign him, his words left no doubt about him following the player's tracks.
"I don't like talking about players who don't work with me, but I can tell you that the world of football loves players like him. He's a wonderful player, it's great to watch him play," Zidane stated.
After "refusing" to talk about the Brazilian ace, Zidane continued to defend his squad and once again stated that Los Blancos won't sign or will let go any players during the current transfer window.
"We're in this together, the club and me. We will not sign any players in this window. If you ask me, the club's execs feel the same way about this matter. There is no problem between myself and the club regarding current trasfer issues," Zidane concluded.
