James Rodriguez may be a popular figure at Bayern Munich due to his excellent form as of late, but that did not stop him from clashing with a team-mate during training. This bust-up occurred on Friday ahead of Sunday’s Bundesliga encounter with Werder Bremen.
The man who the Colombian nearly came to blows with was Sebastian Rudy. The German midfielder was on the receiving end of a strong challenge from the South American ace, sparking the confrontation.
Jerome Boateng and Franck Ribery were quick to react and intervened to stop the bust-up from becoming an actual fight. Jupp Heynckes had also calmed down the situation before the clash died down and the players shook hands.
Although the two players reconciled shortly after the bust-up, this is not what die Roten fans want to hear amid rumors that the attacker is being pursued by Liverpool. The 26-year-old’s future remains up in the air despite moving to the Allianz Arena on a two-year loan deal.

Rodriguez’s value is high despite becoming a benchwarmer at the Bernabeu. Los Blancos spent $83m to sign him back in 2014 and might ask a similar transfer fee from interested clubs.
Klopp’s side could benefit from the Colombian after losing another South American ace in the form of Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian is yet to be replaced, but prying James from both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich might be a task too difficult to achieve.
Klopp’s side, currently third in the table, returns to action in the Premier League on Monday. They travel to Swansea with the aim of maintaining their winning streak.
