Persona Cable
The fifth-largest cable provider in Canada (and the largest provider to rural and non-urban Canadian markets), Persona offers cable and broadband services to more than 1,200 communities. The company was created in 2001 with the reorganization of Regional Cablesystems, which had been in existence since 1986. Although Persona is based in St. John's, Newfoundland, it also has offices in Sudbury and Edmonton. Currently Persona Cable offers a wide variety of basic and digital cable channels, digital music channels, HDTV, and DVR technology. Subscribers can opt to bundle their cable TV coverage with high-speed Internet and digital telephone services for extra savings.
Persona Cable provides access to the English language version of GOL TV, which is an excellent choice when the options are limited. GOL TV provides soccer news and commentary on a 24-hour basis, and televises more than 1,500 live soccer games annually.
