Once again, Brazilian midfielder Oscar was involved in a controversial matter, as he sparked a brawl between his team and Guangzhou R&F in the Chinese Super League. The incident came moments before the halftime whistle was blown, and two players were sent off due to their implication in the brawl.
Oscar had escaped punishment, but Chinese Super League authorities reconsidered their stance and handed the midfielder an eight-match ban.
