Unfortunately for the striker, Monaco wasn¿t able to hold on to their lead and ended up losing 5-3 against Manchester City.

His team may not have won, but Radamel Falcao earned world-wide praise for his antics against Manchester City on Tuesday evening.

The Colombian striker toyed around with John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi all night long, scoring the first-ever brace for a Colombian striker in a UCL knockout stage game. It could have been a hat-trick for the former Chelsea man, but his penalty was saved by Willy Caballero.

His second goal of the evening was a work of art. Moments after missing the spot kick, Falcao destroyed Stones' waist and made his way into the box. When everyone expected him to blast the ball with his right foot, he chipped the ball cleverly over Willy Caballero's head.

Watch the ball sail over the desperate Argentinean's head.

His performance led to all sorts of comments, including praise from some of football's most respected players and experts.

"When everyone thought he'd hit the ball with the inner side of his boot, he ends up with a great move. Massive, Tiger!"

But given his past as a Manchester United and Chelsea player, fans didn't waste time trolling both teams thanks to the Colombian's performance.
